Detroit Free Press Marathon - Run for a Reason

The Southeast Michigan Chapter is proud and excited to be a Run for a Reason Charity Partner for the 7th year at the Detroit Free Press Marathon on Sunday, October 17.
You don’t have to be a Marathoner. Every year, people participate in relays, running and walking the ½ Marathon, wheeling in the pushrim and handcycle divisions and doing the 5k Fun Run. We have a lot of fun and all share the same goals – raising funds and awareness for The Miami Project, and finding a cure for paralysis.
To register for the 2010 Marathon, visit www.freepmarathon.com and click on the register now link. Upon entering the registration area for participant information, you will see a drop-down menu labeled OFFICIAL CHARITY PARTNERS. Please select Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis from this list when registering so the Marathon can have an accurate count of our participants and we can contact you regarding our team fundraising and activities.
