Donald Trump and Roger King Host The Seventh Annual Roger King Celebrity Golf Invitational

On Saturday, June 3and Sunday, June 4, 2006 Roger King of King World Productions and business mogul, real estate tycoon and star of The Apprentice Donald Trump joined NFL Hall of Famer Nick Buoniconti as hosts for a star-studded gala and golf tournament that brought The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis $600,000 closer to a cure.

The Roger King Invitational annually unites leaders from the worlds of business, sports and entertainment to raise money for paralysis research.  Trump Taj Mahal played host to the Saturday night celebrity gala. 

In its seven year existence, the Roger King Celebrity Golf Invitational has raised over $4 million for The Miami Project’s spinal cord injury research programs.  Celebrities who joined the festivities at Trump Taj Mahal included some of the greatest names in sports and entertainment, including: NFL Hall of Famer Bob Griese Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien; NBA legend Truck Robinson; 1968 Olympic long jump legend Bob Beamon; Former NFL greats Mel Renfro, Dick Anderson, Harry Carson and Garo Yepremian; Heavyweight Boxing legend, Gerry Cooney; and former Major League Baseball Pitcher Stan Bahnsen.
